Trends: The new beginnings started last month become the reality forms for the future, and this month our processes challenge us to create them. The last pass of the Saturn/Pluto square occurs Nov 10. Many astrologers consider this aspect as being somewhat bleak and depressing, but that is if one allows themselves to become victims of futility and negativity. There are successful and rewarding ways to handle this somber planetary pair which we will all have the opportunity to experience. We will be confronted with the choice to use our willpower (or not) to overcome fears, blocks and limitations, and through that use of power, to learn wisdom, caution and faith in positive outcomes. It is best to consider “letting go” a blessing, not a betrayal. Focus on trusting your power and using it wisely. To gain insight as to what the influence of these two planets have in your life, return to February and March of this year when the planets were in very close proximity. What themes were going on in your life then? What were you focused upon inwardly? There may have been frustrations and blocked processes, but realize something deeper is going on if we cannot forge ahead with our plans. It is true we must utilize control and power to overcome blocks and obstacles, to build new structures and break out of outmoded ones; however, the internal process is most important as well. It is growth in consciousness, gaining of wisdom, facing obsession and compulsion, changing without fear of loss, and allowing a rebirthing process to occur. In it’s proper form, Saturn/Pluto contacts bring us flashes of inspiration, power, self-realization and the exorcising of our greatest fears.

These themes predominate the month; however, in the latter half, they will be ameliorated by the positive contact of Jupiter and Pluto who harmoniously aspect each other in Week 4. This pair was in similar aspect back in June of this year (if you want to track it in your life). With these energies comes expansion of power, large-scale change, and a broadening of philosophical, religious and life perspectives. It is powerful energy that brings massive transformations, and since this is the USA’s election month, and we’re dealing with Pluto, mass karma will certainly be affected by these energies.

Week 1 (1-8) will give us the illumination we need concerning the issues of the Saturn/Pluto aspect brings. Both Sun and Mercury are making contact with those planets, giving us energy to confront power, overcome limitations, and not stay stuck in unhealthy situations. Tension due to fear of loss, coupled with the aspects to Saturn and Neptune, could make for an intense week. It is a good week for information gathering and thinking in terms of what life is attempting to teach us, increasing our strength and wisdom.

Week 2 (9-16): There are 3 sign changes, so our thinking will most likely become more philosophical or religious; our actions, rebellious in search of freedom through alternative ways and methods; and organization and stabilization of our new structures will be given value. Insight can be gained around the 12th, action can be taken around the 15th. Saturn/Pluto square is exact on the 10th. See Trends above.

Week 3 (17-23): This is a great week to retreat and heal one’s soul through spiritual, esoteric, or artistic means, all of which are highlighted. Be wary of buying into unrealistic dreams that have no basis in reality. For those combating alcohol and drug abuse issues, be strong, and this week confront your demons! It is important to focus on the bigger picture and see what positive can be gained from situations we view as negative. We may feel uncertain of our future and what it will bring, but it is the cultivation of strength and faith that we must rely on to overcome negativity.

Week 4 (24-30): It’s a shake and bake week. Lots of sweeping change if we honor the choice to value our freedom and our desires. It is a great week to finally get things moving and expand our lives in positive directions.

Key Words: Sweeping Change, Determination, Wisdom

ARIES: It is a fertile month for Aries and affords the opportunity to relinquish any over-controlling of reality and learning to trust your process. Realizing that you are living a co-creation in which you must work in harmony with the Universe will teach patience and acceptance. Valuing an optimistic view will foster new and expanded thinking about values, resources and financial goals. Seeking information about your future direction is highlighted during Weeks 1 and 2, especially around the 15th. Also your creativity will most likely be enhanced this month. Mars, your ruling planet, enters Aquarius on the 9th, so you may be feeling extra rebellious, or at least your actions will most likely feel more liberated and experimental, despite societal pressure. You may receive inspiration or a sign from the cosmic powers around the 15th. The Moon enters Aries on the 10th. Pay attention to your feelings.

TAURUS: “Look before you leap” is a good motto for Taurus this month. You may be taking a Leap of Faith, but remember, an educated leap is better than a blind one, unless you absolutely must. Shared finances and/or personal resources will most likely be considered part of your plans. Have faith and confidence in any endeavor before you begin. If you can delay your leap until Week 4, it is recommended, but if circumstance dictates otherwise, go with it. Week 3 is particularly confusing and fragile, but it may reveal needed information to help you clarify your perspective. Pleasant and necessary changes within the home are highlighted. The Moon enters Taurus on the 12th, offering you enlightened awareness.

GEMINI: The month begins with a tendency toward self-improvement and personal re-adjustment, and expanding your field of knowledge and wisdom. Your mind may become occupied with religious, legal or philosophical subjects to help you gain this understanding. Travel is also highlighted, especially around the 3rd, 12th and after the 24th. You may feel rather helpless at times, or wishing you could escape from certain situations, but bear in mind they are there to transform you through challenge and opposition. Try to understand where others are coming from and try to balance even opposing values through higher abstract thought to find the common ground. Do not abandon your vision. Just figure out a way to express it in an ego-less and universal fashion. The Moon enters Gemini on the 14th, when self-discovery through opportunities with others is highlighted.

CANCER: The month begins with opportunities to manage financial and physical resources. Use them to achieve your goals and those of others in whom you trust. Your vision may be questioned in terms of the steps required to get from Point A to Point B. Try not to overly-control even though you may feel overwhelmed by uncertainty. Transformation always involves that period of time where nothing is stable or clearly defined. You may be dealing with vital issues that affect not only your life, but those of others in your environment. Make sure you create a win/win situation for everyone. Intimacy in partnerships may also be a theme, and the deepening of a physical bond will help overcome any defensive blocks that have been preventing mutual enjoyment. The Moon enters Cancer on the 16th, to ground you amidst uncertainty.

LEO: The month begins with aligning your everyday world more closely with your expanding philosophical/religious vision of positive personal growth and self-improvement. How can you change routine to become more disciplined and focused on your goals? You may be dealing with power issues, or thwarted attempts at taking power. If you feel stuck or trapped, Week 2 should provide opportunities for you to discover alternative long-range solutions and paths. In Week 3, it is best to withdraw and focus on nurturing yourself on artistic and spiritual pursuits. Action can be taken during Week 4, when planetary energies favor relationships and working through any of their issues by building sound philosophical structures that you all value. The Moon enters Leo on the 18th to help ground you if situations seem murky or confused.

VIRGO: This month may begin with seeing the need to change the way you’ve been thinking about something. Have the foresight to be open to new ways of coping and speaking your personal truth especially during Week 1. Asserting your vision with power and authority is the karmic lesson. Unconscious fears and blocks may cause stress due to allowing yourself to be put in a hostage situation. Fate and Destiny are still prominent in the ending of a cycle and the beginning of a new one. Try to put yourself in others’ shoes to understand their viewpoints, but don’t sacrifice your ideals to appease them. Find the middle ground. A trip to a foreign culture, if not physically, at least in your mind, will give you fresh perspectives. The Moon enters Virgo on the 21st, to help ground you in your personal transformation.

LIBRA: Taking a Leap of Faith in one’s creativity and personal emotional expression may be causing some tension at the beginning of the month concerning what effect your self-expression may have on goals, ambitions and partnerships. Be very careful with financial and investment activity, especially during Week 3 (at best, it should be avoided.) On a deeper level, intimate relationships may be going through a transformational process to attain higher levels of trust and bonding. There may also be a need to make some vital choices that will affect not only yourself, but those around you as well, as you pursue your personal process. By the end of the month it should feel like rebirth. Use your talents fearlessly. Network with others. Put yourself out there. With Jupiter in Libra, you should be feeling yourself expanding your scope of activity in positive directions. The Moon enters Libra on the 23rd, to help ground you in using your power.

SCORPIO: It’s your birthday month, Scorpio, and you may be called upon to show your inner strength and power in both personal and business relationships. Planetary energies favor lots of power at your command. Just use it wisely and don’t go to extremes. You may be uncertain as to your deepest feelings in relationships, especially during Week 3; however, taking some kind of proactive action just may bring them to light and life. Support your unique, philosophical life vision and do not sacrifice for the sake of others. Use your willpower for your foundation. Maintain your boundaries and stay in touch with your personal sense of yourself. Celebrate your active transformation and realize this year, you are stepping out of your cocoon as a new being. The Moon enters Scorpio on the 26th, when new growth and life phases can begin.

SAGITTARIUS: Identity, personal power and career are all highlighted issues especially in the collective social power structure. You may be challenged in your career and public position during Week 1 in particular, but this is to help you find your own strength and inner stability. Seek the ideal, spiritual love in business and intimate partnerships. Inner transformation will occur naturally. Implementing change in the work area may be something you need to take of, but it’s best to keep a low profile during Week 3, when planetary energies are geared for spiritual retreat. Mercury and the Sun enter your sign on the 12th and 20th, respectively. Expect illumination and brilliant thinking. The Moon enters Sagittarius two times this month: on the 1st and again on the 28th. Pivotal days are around the 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th, 26th and 27th.

CAPRICORN: The month begins with confrontations and power issues in business and intimate partnerships. Firm foundations and structures can be put in place if you allow the process to unfold and try not to force situations. Now is the time to attain knowledge of just how much power you have; just be sure to use wisdom to guide you when exerting your power. Challenges to the very deepest part of yourself are occurring to bring on your evolutionary transformation, to allow you to break free from routines that are no longer working. In the latter half of the month, the focus will most likely be on nurturing yourself and your home. Embrace change. Week 3 is particularly confusing, especially in terms of personal power and career matters; however, in Week 4, long-term solutions should become apparent. The Moon enters Capricorn on the 3rd, to help ground you in making choices.

AQUARIUS: Understanding that reality is a co-creation may be quite useful to you in terms of your personal power. How much should you control your world, and when is it best to let reality live and breathe of its own accord? Transforming yourself by beginning any self-improvement regimen is highlighted. Set up conscious structures for routine and discipline. Focus on mentally preparing yourself for new cycles which are about to begin after the closing of old ones. Your mind will most likely be very active and you ought to be feeling stronger, more energetic and assertive when Mars enters your sign on the 9th, where it will be for approximately the next month and a half. You may receive unexpected financial gain. Values may change as your Destiny is shaped. The Moon enters Aquarius on the 6th, to help ground you to use your power with wisdom.

PISCES: The deepest part of yourself is in transition, and partnerships, whether they be business or intimate, have come to the stage of needing to make a choice. Your public image may challenge you when it comes to making extreme changes, but you are quite aware that something needs to give, and most likely it’s the other person. Stay strong. Be courageous. Do not be overly sacrificial, which is a Piscean weakness. If you need to take a Leap of Faith, chances are best in Week 4. Best to avoid Week 3 for taking dramatic effort; however, for Pisces, Week 3 can be very spiritual and inspirational. You may try to hold onto your old identity for security, but it’s time to let it go and trust the process. Changes within the home are highlighted. The Moon enters Pisces on the 8th, when it will be easier to express your feelings.
